Our lab has data resulted from several research projects on AnVIL. While the top analysts would need access to all of them, some individuals only work on one of the project.
I am wondering how to organized the data so that I can set up access permission for different teammates. Can I set up permission for a sub-folders in a gs location? Or I need to put data related to one research project in its own gs. ?

This might be possible, but in general, we would recommend different workspaces. That way, you can control sharing via workspace and billing project permissions in Terra. Different workspaces would mean different workspace buckets and corresponding gs:// addresses.
Perhaps a strategy like this would work:
- Analyst 1 –> permission for Workspace/bucket 1
- Analyst 2 –> permission for Workspace/bucket 2
- Top Analyst –> permission for Workspace/buckets 1&2
