Hello!

I am trying to access the data for dbGaP phs003444, which is distributed through AnVIL. I can see in dbGaP that I am granted access, but when I log in to AnVIL it says that I don’t have access.

One potential issue is that I am logging in to dbGaP using my eRA commons ID, but am logging in to AnVIL/Terra using my institutional email address.

I’ve linked my eRA commons account to my Terra email in Terra.

I was wondering if you have any suggestions for how to troubleshoot this? Thanks!

Can you confirm your eRA commons ID is linked to login.gov or ID.me? You might find the Requesting Data Access: troubleshooting page helpful.

Hi Ava,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I believe my eRA commons ID is linked to login.gov. I am able to log in to my eRA commons account through login.gov, using the same institutional email address that I use to access Terra/AnVIL.

Thanks for sending the troubleshooting page. I will go through each of those steps.
